| Through this forest is a 3-metre-wide dirt path that connects Konohagakure and Sunagakure. It is mainly a straight trace, but may have some obvious corners and ditches. The forest itself is quite vast, and consists of a mix of both deciduous and coniferous trees. During the night, it is a common wolf attraction, and a gathering place for nukenin. All sorts of creatures are known to roam this area.

It consists of very tall mountains that are well into the clouds, and passage over them is required to reach Iwagakure. There is also another path, which is used by wagoners and travellers moving quickly. However, it is inhabited by many thieves.

The water is quite clear, and more often than not fit for drinking, if with a little risk. Only a few freshwater fish swim these waters.

There are a few tall rock formations here, and have visibly been worn down by what water may have once run over them. There is often a mist settled just above these depths, and it can be a mystical sight to behold, especially with the aid of moonlight.

It is easy to find oneself in the middle of what appears to be nowhere, with nothing but the tall, yellow and green stalks of the meadow for company.

The depths are not as clear as they used to be due to careless littering and anything else that may find its way into the ocean. The water is generally the usual blue and green, and there are many shores from which Rikyuuria can be accessed, from sheer cliffs to sandy shores. There are also many creatures that dwell here, many of them dangerous if ever approached or nearby.
